Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Common Tax Questions

Quick answers about tax filing and compliance in Pakistan and the UAE.

In most cases, yes. If your annual income is above the taxable threshold — or you simply want to appear on the FBR’s Active Taxpayer List (ATL) to avoid higher withholding rates — you should file a return. We assess your situation and file it correctly for you.

NTN registration is a one-time process that gives you a National Tax Number and registers you with the FBR. Filing a return is an annual activity where you declare your income and tax for the year. You need the NTN first, then file returns each year — we handle both.

VAT registration is mandatory once your taxable turnover exceeds AED 375,000 in a 12-month period, and voluntary above AED 187,500. We manage your FTA registration and ongoing VAT return filing so you stay compliant.

UAE Corporate Tax applies at 9% on business profits above AED 375,000 (0% below that), effective for financial years starting on or after 1 June 2023. We handle corporate tax registration and filing with the FTA on your behalf.

Yes — that is our speciality. One team manages your FBR/SRB/PRA obligations in Pakistan and your FTA VAT and corporate tax in the UAE, with the structure to add more countries as your business grows.
